Yo Bill, nice website! I still have good memories of our old days together at the Old Town School. Doing some fiddle-playing these days (though I should have taken it up a half century earlier), and I play in a band called Kettle Moraine. Doing a lot of Irish fiddle too; good sessions in Chicago.
Hope you swing by these parts again sometime. Keep pickin'--you and Doris!

Was on our way to a soccer game at Montreat College....have a Grandson, a Junior on the team, Chad Britts. Stopped at "Moments" for some coffee....Chad also works there part time. Picked up your card....the name caught my eye..."Clearwater Connection". We spent 46 years in florida....26 in Largo, 10 years in a Villa in Dunedin, 5 years in Tampa and 4 in Orlando. Finally decided to relocate to the mountains of NC. We had a seasonal place in maggie Valley since '94. Now full time in NC living near Clyde. When in Florida, i played washboard with Dixieland groups around Clearwater....also belonged to to the Suncoast Dixieland Society, Largo. Not much Dixie here in the mountains, so I dusted off an old gutbucket and started sitting in with Bluegrass groups. We play weekly up a mountain, just east of Canton....usually eight to a dozen pickers there.....Bluegrass, Country, gospel and some Folk...we go from 7 til around 10. Have checked all your links.....was wondering if you have any jobs down this way, in or near Haywood or Buncomb county? Finally...are you from Clearwater, FL ? Your name suggests that Connection.
